Employment Coordinator

Mary has a sound understanding of the disability sector, support options and NDIS developed over many years of experience both in state schools and private schools as a Pathways Support Officer and through qualifications. Mary has always made it a priority to support students with a disability into employment and community based services as it supports their economic and social participation. Mary is passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities, helping them to build independence and skills and to participate in further education, training and employment enhancing opportunities for greater community involvement and personal wellbeing.

Employment Coordinator

Renee has extensive experience and knowledge in the areas of Disability Employment, working with high needs participants, liaising with participant families, community agencies , employers and other professionals. Renee has a good understanding of the disability sector and available support options developed over the many years of experience as a DES Consultant promoting participants to community based services, employers and health professionals. Renee is passionate about making a difference and improving the life of an individual with disability, through inclusiveness within the community and meeting their desired outcomes.

Employment Coordinator

Mitchell is currently studying a Diploma of Community Services and wishes to further his studies by one day completing a Bachelor of Social Work in the future. Mitchell is looking forward to expanding his knowledge and working with people from all walks of life in order to help people become better versions of themselves. Mitchell has an interest in art, podcasting, and history.  Mitchell’s top three values are respect, honesty, and leadership.

Deb has been working in the field of teaching for 35 years. Deb has worked in nursery, primary, secondary and special school settings overseas and in Australia, specialising in English and Drama. Deb also possesses a strong history of working with children with additional. Based on Deb’s interest and experience she is looking forward to building relationships and seeing positive outcomes with our participants. Deb likes the cinema, theatre, reading, cooking and socialising with friends.

Jordan is a qualified mechanic who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of his participants. Jordan is very adaptable and holds strong interests in sports, gaming, technology, cars, animals and learning German in his free time. Jordan values respect, honesty & integrity.

Employment Support Mentor

Maddi is honest, kind and likes to make the most of every opportunity. She has recently completed a Certificate IV in Disability. Maddi enjoys playing netball, going to the beach and spending time with family and friends. She is passionate about her role in Employment Support as she loves helping participants achieve their goals.
Matilda

Matilda

Employment Support Mentor/Peer Mentor

Matilda is currently studying a Bachelor of Social Work at Deakin with the plan to graduate at the end of 2024. Matilda also wants to Major in Indigenous Studies after her Bachelor. Matilda values honesty, kindness and having fun. Matilda enjoys arts and crafts, making her own necklaces and earrings, the beach, painting and animals. Matilda also loves gymnastics and coached this for 3 years. Matilda grew up in an Indigenous community in far north Queensland. Matilda is also a part of Wildlife Rescue Victoria (her dad owns a bat rehabilitation centre in Queensland). Matilda is passionate about the Peer Mentor program as she is invested in making a difference in her participant’s lives as well as being able to help them to become more independent and contribute back to society, which is a rewarding experience for Matilda.

Mekayla is studying her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. She is trustworthy, honest and loyal. Mekayla enjoys travelling, going to the beach, reading and hiking. She is passionate about the Peer Mentor program because she loves working alongside her Participants and empowering them by assisting them to achieve their NDIS goals and reach their potential.

Employment Support Mentor

Paige is currently studying a Diploma of Community Services at The Gordon. She grew up on a dairy farm near Portland and enjoys walking and spending time with friends. Paige is excited to support participants to make positive change and in particular, help them find their feet in employment.
