Lisa
Lisa is AYS’s Business Operations Manager, providing operational leadership across service delivery, scheduling and workflow, and continuous improvement. With a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, she supports teams in delivering coordinated, responsive, and consistent support focused on outcomes, and brings a strong community networking capability. Lisa joined AYS from The Treehouse Geelong, where she was Director, and brings over 15 years’ experience supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families through practical, person-centred and family-centred practice.

Claire
Claire is a loyal, sincere and generous individual who finds joy in spending time with her children, relishing good food and reading. Her spare time is spent catching up with friends over coffee or immersing herself in Nordic Noir. Claire’s passion lies in the disability industry, where she thrives on alleviating financial stress for many. Armed with technical expertise and a knack for problem-solving, she finds fulfillment in learning and adapting to the ever-evolving NDIS industry landscape. With a background in accounting and finance studies, including a postgraduate degree in Applied Business, Claire brings a valuable blend of knowledge and empathy to her role, making a positive impact on those around her.

Michael
Michael has been with AYS since 2016. Over this time, he has worked across several areas of the business, including Finance (Payroll), Plan Management, Support Coordination and the Peer Mentor Program, where he was one of the first Peer Mentors. He thoroughly enjoyed this role, gaining valuable experience in the disability sector. In 2018, Michael completed a Bachelor of Business (Sport Management), majoring in Marketing. He now works as a Business Development Manager, with responsibilities including overseeing marketing, advertising and IT. Michael is loyal, honest, and determined. He thrives in a team environment, enjoys helping others, and embraces new challenges.

Alisha
Alisha is an approachable, thoughtful and cheerful individual. Known for her love of live music and spending quality time with friends and family, she is a footy enthusiast who passionately supports St Kilda, despite occasional disappointment. Alisha enjoys walks with her dog Lenny, indulging in coffee and brunch with family, and watching football. Alisha has worked in the disability sector since 2015 and is driven by her belief in the positive impact it can have. In her Human Resources role, she shapes culture and recruits top talent to support participants. An interesting fact about Alisha is that she plays the flute, and she’s grown up between Darwin and Canberra.

Ben

Emma
Emma is friendly, conscientious and kind. She enjoys bushwalking, reading, and spending time with her family. She cherishes working in the disability industry as she has the opportunity to witness people’s growth and thriving. Emma previously worked as an Occupational Therapist before starting a family. In her spare time, she enjoys getting out into nature, curling up with a good book and engaging with friends and family. The best part of her role is meeting and conversing with diverse individuals, both staff and participants.

Jaimee
Jaimee is an outgoing and supportive individual who is passionate about helping others. With a keen interest in studying Certificate 4 in Community Service in the future. On her days off Jaimee enjoys playing basketball, football, and spending time with friends. Jaimee has travelled extensively throughout Australia and lived in Miami for a year. She is particularly passionate about the peer mentor program, using her lived experience with neurodiversity to help others.

Jessica
Jessica is friendly, compassionate and creative. She loves travelling and going on adventures with her family and enjoys caring for her animals, which include six chickens and three dogs. With lived experience as a mother to two neurodivergent children, she is passionate about advocating for inclusion and ensuring people with disabilities can access the support they need to thrive. Jessica is always exploring new creative hobbies and has previously enjoyed oil painting, pottery and resin art.

Matt
Matt is an outgoing, fun and positive person. He has recently completed a Certificate IV in Disability and has also completed a Bachelor of Commerce. When Matt isn’t working, he enjoys playing golf, going for beach walks and watching local sports. Matt enjoys working within the disability sector as he is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Rachael

Rebecca
Rebecca is known for her practicality, honesty, and thoughtfulness. She enjoys watching crime shows and indulges in the occasional Marketplace purchase. In her spare time, she treasures moments with family, explores new places and savors delicious cuisines. Rebecca’s true passion lies in the disability industry, where she relishes connecting with families and participants, celebrating their wins. Her love is unwavering for her ginger cat (named Fasolo), even after a hospital stay caused by said cat. She holds a Diploma in Management and Leadership and is a Qualified Optical Dispenser.

Sara
Sara is outgoing, vivacious and known for her cheerful nature. With qualifications in Human Resources, Finance, and Business Administration, she brings a strong skillset and a passion for improving systems and processes behind the scenes. Sara is driven by the impact of the NDIS and values contributing to work that supports the disability community. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, crocheting, and studying, and once worked at Luna Park as Barney Bear!

Wilson
Wilson is a kind, fun, and confident individual who is currently studying Marine Science. He has a wide range of interests, including Anime, Marvel, DnD, hiking, and reading. Wilson enjoys going to the movies, cooking, playing games, and catching up with his friends. He is very interested in music and can play the drums and is also learning the piano. He is passionate about helping others and believes that he can make a difference by sharing his experiences and knowledge.
