Dana
Senior Support Coordinator
Dana is passionate in empowering participants to live a meaningful life and have equal opportunities to do so. Dana has lived experience, which drew her to complete a Cert IV in Disability. She worked for many years as a SIL house supervisor before moving to Geelong where she was a Team Leader for a support provider, then wanted to take on the challenge of being a Support Coordinator and work more directly with participants. Dana is passionate about supporting participants with complex needs, particularly those with high physical support needs or concerning behaviours. Dana’s area of expertise is supporting participants in SIL/SDA, hospital discharges and working with complex care teams to achieve best outcomes for all participants. Dana believes that strong advocacy, compassion and trust is essential when supporting participants to achieve the most from their NDIS plan.
