We are delighted to share that we have successfully completed our latest externa
audit against the NDIS Practice Standards, confirming our continued registration and
accreditation with the NDIS Commission.
This audit covered governance, quality systems and compliance processes for all
service delivery areas, across every AYS site, including our Melbourne We Support
U locations. The audit involved detailed file reviews, interviews with participants, staff
and leadership, and a close look at how our systems operate day to day.
We are proud to share that we met every related NDIS standard, with continued
accreditation recommended across all relevant registration groups with no
nonconformities identified. This is a strong result and speaks to the consistency of
our systems, the skills and knowledge of our team, and the quality of support
delivered by them, to our participants.
Importantly, the auditor noted that achieving a completely clean result like this is
highly unusual for an organisation of our size and complexity. It reflects a mature
organisation where quality and continuous improvement are built into everyday
practice.
With significant NDIS reforms flagged for the second half of 2026, the role of
compliant, high-quality providers is more important than ever. The sustainability of
the scheme relies on organisations that can consistently deliver safe, effective and
accountable supports. This result positions AYS strongly as a preferred registered
provider that all participants and their families, and the broader community can rely
on.
